About the Event
Background
Conference on Applied Linguistics is an annual conference held by the Language Center of Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia in collaboration with English Education Department and Indonesian Applied Linguistics Association (ALTI). This year, the Eleventh Conference on Applied Linguistics (CONAPLIN 11) will be held on 27-28 November 2018, in Banana Inn Hotel, Bandung, Indonesia. Under the theme “Trends and Challenges in Applied Linguistics”, this conference aims to bring together academic practitioners, university lecturers and students, independent scholars and researchers to share and exchange the knowledge, practices, and research results on areas related to current issues in applied linguistics. CONAPLIN 11 also provides a forum for language teachers to present and discuss practical challenges, as well as potential solutions to issues in the their practices in teaching languages other than English.
Topics for presentation
CONAPLIN 11 invites language teachers, university lecturers and students, and independent researchers to present their research abstracts and papers. Contributions on unpublished results of empirical and experimental research in areas of applied linguistics are cordially invited for presentation. Topics of interest for presentation in CONAPLIN 11 include, but not limited to:
